Biceps and Triceps Workout

This biceps and triceps workout can both be done in the same workout. I say this because some people only do triceps or biceps on separate days. Why? Well some say doing both muscles on the same day will put your arms out of action for at leased 2 days. This is crazy talk because no matter how much weight you push your muscles shouldn’t be out of action. Maybe hurt a bit yes but never out of action.

I am not sure of your weight set up but you will need some kind of weights to do this workout. Watch the video and see if it will suit you. If you have a multi gym you can do similar exercises with that.

Men or women can do this biceps and triceps workout by simply adjusting the weights you use. Here is a quick guide on what results you will get from using what weights-

What Weight Should You Use?

  • Light Weights with more repetitions will tone the muscle and burn the fat more around the muscle in use. Reps from 15 to 25 per set.
  • Medium Weights with a medium amount of repetitions will still tone the muscle but also add a bit of size. Over time that is. Reps from 12 to 15 per set.
  • Heavy Weights with a lower repetitions will build the muscle in use over time. Reps from 06 to 12 per set.

So keep that weight guide in mind and do what weights and reps you want for your desired goal. The workout below is a guide to show you what and how to do things. You can if you want do medium workout on Monday then the heavy workout around the end of the week. Make sure you give your muscles time to heal before doing the workout again. If you do not own any kind of weight set up but still want to train your biceps and triceps. Try doing some pull ups with your palms facing in towards your face. This will exercise your biceps by using your own weight. Alternatively you can twist your your hands so your palms are facing out to exercise your triceps.

I personally am too heavy to do loads of pull ups or also known as chin ups. I’m weighing in at 16 stone but sometimes go down to 15 stone. It depends on the changes I do to my life long workout routines. Sometimes I bulk and other times I jump around like a nutter doing cardio. lol
